Kawasaki ex500 broke down =(

So I took my ninja 500 out today after cleaning the chain and everything
and topping up the brake fluid. Was riding for about an hour or so with
my friend on his vfr 750 and I'm going about 80 mph I imagine and all
of a sudden the bike acts like it was out of gas and starts bogging down
when I give it throttle and it just got slower and slower so I turned
it off and pull off the road and smoke just rolls out from under the gas
tank. I get off and look and the crank case breather was blown off and
oil was coming out of it and had splattered all over the exhaust pipes
and stuff. Bike will start and run but poorly.... I was able to get it
to drive me about a half mile up the road to his house or what was left
after it was destroyed by a tornado a few days ago.... Damn this sucks.
And if you give it gas while trying to start it it will sometimes back
fire and quite a bit of oil came out the crank case breather
hole. I can only assume its a piston ring gone bad =(. Luckly I have ap arts bike I should beable to get ahold of with some sweet talking that has a running motor with 13k miles on it. It does need a stator though which I can just take off the bad motor.

But If lives in the pulaski area and feels like helping me do an engine swap possibly.. that would be cool!! I did a swap on a 250 once and it was pretty easy lol. Took about 3 hours maybeless. The hardest part was me holding the motor in place while my friend was shoving the bolts through the frame mounts
